Personal Identity

Grade 9 Projects & Achievements

Personal Identity

Definition: Understand that learning is continuous and my concept of self and identity will continue to evolve. Understand how my values shape my choices. Acknowledge my strengths and abilities, and explicitly consider these as assets to help me meet new challenges.

This month, I learned more about myself and my interests through my electric bike work. I recognize that I'm someone who learns best by doing hands-on projects rather than just reading about things. My passion for electric vehicles and mechanical work has become a core part of my identity—it's not just a hobby, it's something I'm genuinely good at and want to continue developing. I also acknowledge my strengths in technical problem-solving and 3D design, while recognizing that I need to be more patient when things don't work immediately. These projects challenge me to keep improving and push beyond my current skill level.

In my spare time, I usually work on my bike and scooter, and I enjoy riding with my friends. This summer, I had a great time riding my scooter with my friends all summer long. I prefer hands-on work over sitting in a classroom all day listening to a teacher.
